Danielle Jorae of Michigan Reflections, Chosen as a Michigan State Park Ambassador
Every couple of years Michigan State Parks opens up an application process for people around the State of Michigan to be State Park Ambassadors. This program helps showcase Michigan State Parks, waterways and recreation areas throughout the state.
An ambassador must visit State Parks throughout Michigan and submit photos of each location that highlights the beauty of our State. By doing this, The State of Michigan will utilize those images to encourage tourism, education and safety, whether that be on their website, billboards and more.
State Park Ambassadors are located across Michigan, with just shy of 50 participants. This is a volunteer opportunity where photographers will gain recognition for their images if they are utilized in anyway.
As someone who travels the State taking images, this is the perfect fit for Michigan Reflections. Be on the lookout for any of our images in use on your travels!
